
Chimichurri sauce
Ingredients
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil VERA
1/2 cup finely chopped parsley
3-4 cloves of garlic
1 chilli pepper
2 tbsp red wine vinegar or lemon juice
small teaspoonful of dried oregano
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Important: All ingredients must be chopped very finely!
Once everything is mixed together, refrigerate the sauce for at least an hour before serving - this is when the flavours will meld perfectly. Add it to your barbecue party and get a taste of authentic South American cuisine!
