
Thick stuffed toast with pesto and chicken
Ingredients
VERA green pesto
VERA Dried Tomatoes
Cheddar cheese
Chicken breast schnitzels
Thin slices of bacon
Lettuce
Balsamic cream
Salt
Parmesan
Bread (preferably wheat)
Oil
Seasoning for chicken
Preparation
Mix the chicken seasoning with the oil and rub the marinade over the meat.
Grill the chicken and bacon in a frying pan or grill.
Toast two slices of bread with cheddar - when the cheese has melted, separate them.
Brush the centre with pesto and then layer: chicken, bacon, sun-dried tomatoes, lamb's lettuce.
Sprinkle with a little salt, drizzle with balsamic cream and grate a generous portion of Parmesan cheese on top.
Fold the sandwich, cut it open and secure it with toothpicks - because toast has to hold its shape!
